Update

You'll have to forgive the lapse between posts. Life with two itty bittys is, as you can imagine, quite full!

Here's what's been going on in the Greenlee household:

Sam recently had his 2 month well check at the doctors (which also meant he got his first vaccination). Sam sees Luke's pediatrician (who's technically a FP, but she's the best pediatrician around if you ask us) and we just love her. With Luke I opted for an alternative vaccination schedule and with Sam we space his shots out so he never receives more than two a visit. Some offices do not budge on their vaccination schedule so we greatly appreciate Dr. Kimmel's flexibility. He did rather well with his first shot... of course, it broke my heart to see him cry, but he was over it in less than a minute and didn't act irritable at all later in the day. I was really surprised to find out that our little guy is only in the 15% percentile in height. Luke was off the charts in every category for day 1 and being from a family of tall ladies and gents, being lengthy is just something I've grown to expect of my kiddos. Surprise! Sam is so adorable and it's interesting to see how he's just his own little person! I'll be really interested in seeing what color is hair ends up being. Right now, it's very strawberry colored. Luke went through a season shortly where his hair had a reddish tint but it quickly turned to blond, though Sam's has been red for quite a while and doesn't show signs of changing anytime soon!

Luke has been saying the funniest things these days. He loves it when we go on car trips because we have a lot of childrens CD's stored in the car. He calls his favorite the Na Na CD because it's a children's worship album where the first song is Every Move I Make (and it starts with kiddos singing Na na na nanana na). He asks for it often.

Today I asked Luke if his stuffed lamb chair had a name. He told me very matter of fact, "Yes. Pizza.". There you go folks... Pizza the Lamb!

We've been hearing a lot of "No! Luke do it"s around the house these days. Mr. Independent likes to eat with utensils, drink from a big kid cup, go down stairs himself, and "read" his own books. Luke's still on his flashcard kick and we've moved on to presidents. It's so cute to hear him say Washington and Adams with that adorable little voice! Today we took a car trip to the store and Luke was consoling Sam in the back seat by holding his hand and whispering Sssshhh!!! What a great big brother he is!

Nick's been at his job now for well over a month. He just started a new schedule this past week where he works a half-day Wednesday and three 12-hour shifts Thursday-Saturday. Those days are long, but he enjoys beating rush hour in the mornings (he gets there at 6am) and having three and a half days off every week. The boys have really enjoyed having their daddy around more and we've been able to make family days out of our Monday & Tuesdays.

That's kind of things here. I'll need to get some pictures up. The boys have really grown these last few weeks!
