Signing Up for Spring Semester

This is one of the first weeks I've really felt on top of all my homework, however I can tell it will be short lived! I have a huge exegetical paper due in a couple of weeks, not to mention two book reports and a research paper due next week. Yikes! I best be gettin' on it!

Today we signed up for classes for next semester. I'm so glad I delayed taking Acts this semester because I was able to evaluate the teachers I have and see who I'd really like to take it with. So, I'll be taking Acts II with Dave Smith this spring (I'll just take Acts I in Fall 2006). He does an amazing job teaching Christian Life, so I'm eager to take another one of his classes. I decided I'd rather take less classes next semester, work more, and hopefully save enough to take violin lessons (I'm really hoping to get back in the groove with that) so I'll be taking 13 credits (or 15, if you included my wintercession class). Nick, on the other hand, is feeling quite adventurous academically! Between wintercession and spring classes, he'll be taking something like 22 or 24 credit hours. The man's insane! Luckily, he loves his classes and all the power to him if he can do it!

Yesterday was one of the first times I've been able to get some pampering... I went and got my haircut. Over the summer, I'd attempted to cut it myself. Luckily, it was long enough I didn't do too much damage just trimming layers, but it was definitely nice to go in somewhere and have someone else work with it. One of our ministers at church, Kevin Klein, has a daughter my age who does hair so I set my appointment up with her. I was good getting to get to know her and get pampered at the same time! She does Mary Kay hard core and really motivated me to get back on that! I would like to boosed that up because I love to do it and have kinda .slumped when school started getting chaotic.

In a couple weeks Michael, Mom, and Alex will be down for Ambassador's Rally which I'm really excited about because I haven't seen them in a long time. The next weekend, we get to celebrate my birthday and see Les Miserable at the Music Hall (whoo hoo!). And on the 19th, we'll be singing in Ashlie & Gavin's wedding. I'm so excited for them... I can't believe their getting married! And to think after that, the holidays begin! I can't wait!

God bless & Take Care!
