Halloween Is Almost Here

Well, fall is in full swing. The leaves have all turned and we finally have permanently brisk weather which is wonderful! Up into mid-October we still had 90 degree temperatures, so it's nice to have it cool down. I've really enjoyed decorating the house for fall. Earlier this month, I found a wonderful autumn swag for the front door. With it and two pumpkins on the little entry, the house is all complete for fall!

Two more days until Halloween... I think Nick and I are more excited about handing out candy to kids than we were as kids getting the candy! We were doing all our Wal-Marting yesterday and I thought it only natural to pick up a couple bags of candy to distribute on Halloween. Nick said we'd wait until the day of... don't ask me why! I'm hoping there will still be some left to buy by then!

I was talking to Grandma Walters a couple days ago and she told me how quickly Alex has growing up, which I can only imagine. He was asking Grandpa a couple questions for a school assignment. When he felt he had enough stuff, he replied, "That's all the information I need. Thanks!" The other day, Mom had also told me he'd lost his first tooth. I can't believe how quickly he's changing and growing. Both he and Michael, along with Mom, will be down next weekend. It will be the first time we've seen them since the beginning of August. We'll look forward to seeing them.
