King Kong and More Warts

Yesterday morning I was able to get into the doctor to get my foot/warts looked at again. The doctor just shook his head in disbelief that they weren't knocked out after the freezing, burning, and cutting. This time he assured me that he'd do a real freezing. I was thinking, "Right. A real freeze." I've already had it done so many times I was afraid freezing it one more time would do no good. Gosh darn it, it better have done the job because it was the most painful think I've ever undergone. He set a timer for two minutes and froze it solid for the whole time. Youch! Needless to say, I was a "hop-along" all of yesterday.

Nick and I ended up going to see King Kong last evening. I know he was extremely eager to see it. I was curious, but I don't think I was anticipating seeing it as much as he was because I thought it would be one of those "man's man" kind of movies. It had a certain amount of gore (yucky amazon bugs, freeky looking natives, etc.), but it ended up being such a sad movie. Nick had fair-warned me "You know he dies at the end of the movie, right?" and I didn't think anything of it. I ended up crying the last ten minutes of the movie though. It was ridiculous... poor Nick... he must've been so embarrassed; here I am balling about some giant monkey falling off the Empire State Building. I'm fair-warning you, ladies: don't see it if you don't want a good cry. It's tragic and we both ended up feeling really blue when we walked out of the theatre.

Well, must go. I have to get a package out to the post office and I've been extremely delayed in getting new tags put on my car (they expired in November) so I need to get them changed. Take care!
